If you’ve listened to the example audiobook from the previous tutorial, you may have noticed that the male speaker’s voice has a slightly different tone compared to the original default voice. In this tutorial, we’ll explore how to adjust those voice settings for an even more personalized audiobook.

Step 1: Editing the Speaker

  1. Go to the right sidebar and select the speaker’s voice you want to edit.

  2. Open the menu and click 'Edit Speaker'.

Step 2: Adjusting Speed and Pitch

You’ll find two adjustable settings: Speed and Pitch.

  • Speed:
Use the slider to make the speaker read the text at a faster or slower pace, depending on the direction you move it.

  • Pitch:
Adjust the slider to modify the speaker’s tone. Move it up for a higher pitch or down for a deeper tone.

Step 3: Listening to the Changes

  1. After adjusting the sliders for speed and pitch, click 'Save Changes'.

  2. To hear how the adjustments sound:

    • Click the Play icon on any text section assigned to the speaker.

    • Listen carefully and make further adjustments if needed.

  3. Repeat this process until you’re satisfied with the voice settings.

Step 4: Generating the Audiobook

Once the voice settings are finalized, generate the audiobook by clicking the 'Publish Audiobook' button.

Step 5: Preview the Final Result

After receiving the email confirmation, preview your audiobook to ensure the adjusted voices meet your expectations. Here’s an example of the final result:

By tweaking the speed and pitch of your speakers, you can create a more dynamic and customized listening experience for your audience. Experiment with these settings to find the perfect balance for your audiobook!
