4. How to Review Your Course Structure and Create Slides

In this tutorial you are going to learn how to create the first set of slides for your Loquy course and review the main areas of the slide editor.

Written by Enrique

After Loquy creates the slides, you can open the generated lesson and check the slides, speaker notes, style options, and presenter settings before continuing with the rest of the course.

1. Open the Generated Slides

After Loquy has finished creating the slides for the first module, the module status changes from writing to written.

Select the first lesson and click Open slides.

2. Review the Slide Editor Walkthrough

The first time you open the slides, Loquy shows a short walkthrough of the slide editor. This walkthrough explains the main areas of the editor, including the Presenter, Style, and Publish options, the slide toolbar, the slide thumbnails, and the presenter setup.

Click Next to go through the walkthrough or click Skip – I’ll explore if you want to close it.

3. Review the Slide Editor

After the walkthrough is closed, you will see the generated slides. The slide thumbnails appear on the left side of the screen. Click any thumbnail to open that slide.

The main slide appears in the center of the screen. You can click the text on the slide to edit it, and changes are saved automatically. On the right side, you will see layout and content tools for the selected slide.

4. Continue With the Course

At this stage, you only need to review the generated slides and become familiar with the editor.

In the next tutorial, you are going to learn how to edit the slide content, speaker notes, layouts, images, and other lesson details.
