1. Sign into Your Dropbox Account
Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ and log into your Dropbox account.
If you do not have a Dropbox account, you can sign up and open a new account totally free in less than a minute. Instead of signing in, fill out this form and then check your email to verify the account.
2. Create a Folder
Once you are in your account create a new folder and give it a name that is easy for you to remember and relate to Designrr.
3. Upload Your Audio or Video File
Open the folder you just created and upload your audio or video file there. An explorer window will open. Navigate and select the audio or video file you want to upload from your computer.
4. Get Your File Link
Once the file has been uploaded to your Dropbox account, hover your mouse over the file and click on the 'Share' button that appears.
Click on copy link.
Notice that the link has been copied to your clipboard
5. Add the Dropbox Link to Designrr
Create a new project in Designrr as usual. After you name it select either 'Import from Podcast' to import an audio file or 'Import from Video' o import an video file .
Now enter or paste the Dropbox link in the pop up window where it says 'Insert Link to any Video'. Then click on 'Fetch' to complete the file import and begin the transcription.
After a few minutes, depending on the length of the file you will receive an email letting you know that your file is transcribed and can be found in the 'Drafts' section.
That's it. You have successfully added a file from Dropbox.
