NOTE: Files larger than 512MB are NOT allowed

1. Log to Your Dropbox Account

The first step is to log into your Dropbox account. Go to https://www.dropbox.com/ and sign in

If you do not have a Dropbox, please follow this tutorial. Creating a new Dropbox is fast and easy.

2. Create a Shared Folder

Once inside your Dropbox account you can create a new 'Shared' folder or share an already existing one. To do that choose 'Sharing' from the left sidebar menu and click on 'Create shared folder'

Then choose if you want to create a new folder or share an existing one. We are going to create and share a new folder.

Give a name to your folder and in the 'To:' fild enter your Designrr username email. Click on 'Share'

Now, if you have not already done so, you can upload the audio and video files to the shared folder. We recommend to upload a max of five files per session.

 2. Connecting Designrr to Dropbox

In Designrr go to the 'Profile' Section found in the header of the dashboard and find the Dropbox connection section. Click on the button and you will be prompted to enter your Dropbox account login details.

Once the connection is established you should see the folder you created and shared in Dropbox, in our case folder's name was Designrr File Sharing

At this point, the audio and video files you uploaded to the shared Dropbox folder are being sent to the transcription queue. Once the transcription is finished you will be notified by email.

Q. What happens if I don't remove the files from the Dropbox folder and keep on adding new audio and video files.

A. As long as you don't rename the files, the system "knows" which files have already been transcribed.
