1. Adding a Table of Contents

Once the project is formatted, is time to add a table of contents. To do that simply drag the 'Table of Contents' element to the top of the first page

Choose the type of 'Table of Contents' you want add to your ebook. For this example we will pick the number 1 as we only want to show the chapters in the table of contents.

Once added, this is how it looks like on a page.

Note: Notice the page numbers, these will be removed in the Kindle version as reflowable ebooks do not have pages.

Note: adding a table of contents to your ebook is an optional step, but makes the eBook navigation easier.

Tip: Add the table of contents element last.
