1. The Original Page Layout

For this tutorial we are going to use one of the blog posts in the Designrr blog

This is how the pages look like in the editor, but we do not want a header or footer, just the page number in the footer.

2. Hiding the Header Section

Start by selecting all the content inside the heading element in the header section and use the 'Backspace' or 'Delete' key in the keyboard.

You should end up with this.

Then click on the header section again, go to the 'Background' tab in the left sidebar (1), click on the color (2), pick white - as is the color of the page (3) - and confirm with 'Choose' (4).

All your pages headers should now look like this.

3. Hiding the Footer Section

Before "hiding" the footer section, let's add the page number first by opening the 'Settings' section (1), open 'Page Numbering' (2), toggle the switch to on (3) and the page numbers are added to the pages (4).

As the page has a white background we have to change the color of the page number to something with more contrast. to do that we click on the 'Page Number Container' (1), then click on the text color (2) and select black (3) and confirm (4).

All the page numbers in the project are now in black.

At this point we are going to repeat the same actions as we did for the header. Let's continue with the text in the footer. Select all the content inside the Footer 'Locked' element and use the 'Backspace' or 'Delete' key in the keyboard.

Just the page number inside the footer section.

We only need to change the background color to white. To do that we select the Footer section by clicking inside (1), then go to the 'Background' tab in the left sidebar (2), click on the color picker (3), choose white - as is the color of the page (4) - and confirm with 'Choose' (5).

That's it! Click Here if you are curious how the ebook looks like after the changes.
