How To Publish and Download a PDF

In this tutorial you will learn how to publish and download a PDF.

1. Publishing and Downloading Your PDF

Once you have finished creating your project click on the 'Publish' button in the bottom of the left sidebar.

A new window will open. Select PDF and click on 'Export'.

Note: Depending on the plan you are in, more or less ebook formatting options will be available, but publishing as PDF is available in all plans.

This will automatically load your project in your browser. To download the PDF to your computer click on the download icon. This will open a pop up that allows you to navigate to a specific location in your hard drive where you can save the PDF.

TIPS: It's a good idea to test publish your ebook prior to downloading it. Look through it and see if everything is correctly aligned. If there are any issues go back and correct them and then re-test.

Do not share the published link, that is just for you. Download the PDF, upload it to a cloud server of your choice, and get the share link from there.

Are you getting this error message when trying to download your PDF from the dashboard: "PDF not generated, remote server script had an error! "? It just means that you have not yet published the PDF. It needs to be published in order to be able to download it. Go back into your project, click on 'Publish', and create the PDF. You only need to do this once. After that you will be able to download the PDF directly from your thumbnail in the dashboard.
