You can use this option to add extra articles, chapters, or sections to an existing project. The content can be imported from different sources, including Blog Post, Google Docs, Word DOCX, PDF, Copy & Paste, and Docs.
1. Go to the Place Where You Want to Add the New Content
Open the project you want to edit. Scroll to the place where you want to insert the new content. This can be at the end of the current article, after an existing section, or between two sections.
If you want to add the content at the end of the project, go to the last page.
2. Import Your Content Into the Project
Go to the Elements panel on the left. Drag the Import Content element into the project and place it where you want the new content to be added.
The Where to Import from? popup will open. Here you will see the available import options. You can import content from:
Blog Post
Google Docs
Word DOCX
PDF
Copy & Paste
Docs
3. Select the Import Source
Choose the source you want to import from.
For example, if you want to import content already saved in the Docs section, select Docs.
The Import Docs window will open. Here you will see the content saved in your Docs section.
Select the document you want to add to your project by clicking on it. Click the arrow to move it into the Selected docs to merge section. Then click Import.
4. Wait for the Content to Be Added
After a few seconds, the selected content will be added to your project.
The imported content will use the formatting and styling from the current project template.
5. Add More Articles or Sections
To add more articles, chapters, or sections, repeat the same process. Go to the place where you want the next piece of content to appear, drag the Import Content element into that position, and select the import source.
You can add content from the same source or from a different source. For example, you can add one section from Docs, another from a blog post, and another from a Word DOCX file.
6. Import Multiple Docs at Once
If you have several documents saved in the Docs section, you can import more than one at the same time. Select each document you want to add and move it into the Selected docs to merge section.
You can manually reorder the selected documents before importing them.
Once the documents are in the correct order, click Import.
Designrr will add the selected documents to your project in the order shown.
7. Review the Imported Content
After the content has been imported, review the new pages. Check that the sections have been added in the correct order and that the headings, page breaks, headers, and footers look correct.
If needed, you can make final adjustments in the project editor before publishing.
8. Save and Publish
When you have finished adding and reviewing your content, click Save.
You can then click Publish when you are ready to export or publish the completed project.
