Have you ever imported a blog post or article where all the images show up correctly in the project editor, only to find that when you publish the PDF some, or all, are missing?

If yes, this article is for you.

Some server accounts protect the images on the website from being downloaded.

When you generate the ebook (PDF or ePUB) the images on that blog post must be downloaded to your unique storage account in Designrr to be part of the ebook, but as the server does not allow the download, they go missing in the ebook.

Let's assume that this image is such a case. You generate the PDF and the image is gone, but you can clearly see it in the project editor.

How to Fix The Missing Image Issue

The solution is very simple. Start by clicking on the image to activate it and then expand the toolbar. Click on the pencil icon to open the image in the image editor.

In the image editor simply click on 'Save', that's all. The photo will be replaced with the downloaded version

After a few seconds...

the photo is replaced.

You will have to repeat the same process for each missing photo.
